            So, in the other book “Best Friends” Sapphire tried committing suicide causing her to pass out. The book acted as if it was continuing on after she “woke up” but in reality she never did. 
            
            So in “Love Hurts” she realizes all this was a dream that she was living in and it kind of taught her some lessons. Which is why she wakes up and changes some things.
