@purplebeancake Tbh I think her actions and thoughts are completely rushed and  impulsive. Her actions don't seems calculated from my pov.she need to think with calm and clear mind but I still hate her for her attitude towards Emily.

@Ein2021 thank you for reading. I really appreciate. Yes, she was ready to accept anything he did to her. She was rationalizing the bad things he did but it was not healthy for her. She really had to leave else she could have been in worse situations. When he saw that she could endure all the gave to her, he only became worse. I’m happy that Emily broke free from the cycle because Lucas ‘might’ have ended up like Mark or worse. It’s just that the broken home is still affecting him because of his mother’s instability due to his father’s predatory behavior but it’s still better than being in a house and seeing your father break your mom’s head.

@purplebeancake thank you for the update. Poor Emily, she was so naive and hopefull. She would have continued with accepting everything from him, if he would have been less agressive. Too bad he has no chance of being normal, with his past trauma and everything. And Emily was the one to suffer the consequences.

@Ein2021 Hi. Sorry, I'm just seeing this. No I will definitely continue but my original plan was to end at 50 chapters. I guess I underestimated my story or my chapters were too short.
