This is a bit a rant and might piss you off so uh…
So for those who don’t know here are two context things:
1) I’m in 8th grade this year (“graduating” may 27th)
2) I have a twin brother
3) my middle school gives out awards called the Thomas Edison awards or the alva Edison’s awards or some shit to selective students that go to a before school breakfast to receive the awards
If you can’t already guess my brother (I’m gonna call him space bc he loves space and stuff) but basically he got one of the awards and I didn’t but I’m still allowed to go the breakfast and I have a close friend (maybe more I only know of one though) that’s also getting an award (she’s crazy smart; she deserves it) but idk if I actually want to go to the breakfast or not, I feel like I should bc of my brother/friend but also I don’t rlly want to?? Idk someone help me I feel like I only don’t want to bc I’m being salty but idfk

We love growing to five foot six by 7th grade and being the tallest in ur friend group your entire life only to be surpassed the second you stop growing by everyone and have everyone point it out!!!
Is it an issue that this genuinely makes me want to fucking cry??? Like asking for a friend here (I’m five six and I wear shoe size 9.5, my dad is six one and my mom is five five) and now half the people I’m friends with r either drastically shorter or just taller that it’s clear they’re taller but not by much, also my dance friends are getting taller than me (grade younger) and I feel like it’s pmo for genuinely no reason
