          Because I served in Germany while a soldier in the US Army, I was able to include things in the story that you would not experience as a tourist.
          
          I also got down into Italy, where some scenes appear in my story.

          My story takes its inspiration from the time of King David of Israel three thousand years ago.
          
          In fiction I provide Tamar a life before she was brutally taken by her half brother Amnon and a sustaining love after.
