they were up for adoption, but no one would show interest in taking them in.
[ it is quite in his character to buy things for his son, because he wants him to be happy ( and a tiny bit spoiled, but he digresses ) and grow up with access to things he was restricted from in childhood. so perhaps, when lan zhan is having a monthly instagram scroll, he finds an advertisement for unwanted rabbits and a link to the website. you can see where this is going. ] .. i don’t see any imperfections that they spoke of.

@lanclans, rabbits.. ( and by that, he means more rabbits to add to the already growing population in their backyard. still sizhui is overjoyed to take one into his arms, bumping his nose against the animal's. ) i can't imagine why.. they look perfect to me! they need names, baba.
