fellas, is it gay to write a love song for your partner because you can’t see each other on valentine’s day, but you have no clue what key it’s in, or what instrument to have in the background, so you just plan on recording accapella in the rain instead to send it to them?

          3. go through with the trope of the “cheerleaders being overtly girly, a little ditzy and passive aggressive”
          4. “idiotic type country boy with phrases nobody but him understands” trope
          5. “short and skinny white boy that is scared of practically everything and can’t hold a secret and is gay coded and played off as the weakest member” trope
          6. comic sans transition titles on the screen
          7. a show that would be a great commentary on misogyny and toxic masculinity in mid/high school football if they didn’t put a laugh track or vocal track or the sad music over the serious bits

          i’m angry at nickelodeon for just playing off the misogyny and not-so-secretive homophobia
