Trying to find a book:
          	There is this mmc owns a bar or club and he has the mfc sit in a booth where he can see her and she subscrabes him to a movie service without telling him. And he gets angry everytime she gets up without telling him. The other people who work at the bar are his friends, theres atleast one female friend and a bunch of men. The fmc has slight beef with one of the guy friends. They have a monopoly night at one point. I think the mmc and his friends are either fbi type or mafia type. The fmc i think was a server but ended up losing the job and applying at his bar.

There is this book where the guy puts an engagement ring on his girlfriend's ring finger while she sleeps as a form of proposing and waits for her to notice she has it on. I for the life of me can not remember what book. Does anyone know of a book with the same type of scene?
