@queenfromthe70s I love this book too and see so much potential in the characters...I understand the writing challenge after what Freddie did... but never underestimate the emotional power of a redemptive journey story ... Every reader can relate to feelings of guilt ...we've all done things that we regret, that's part of being human Yes Freddie is a flawed character but he can undergo a journey of emotional growth and maturity... As a reader, I want characters to evolve over time and be dynamic not static, it is more interesting   ... As a writer, perhaps you can explore the reasons that perhaps made Freddie behave like that .. .Insecurities from his childhood ? He did have separation anxiety after being sent to boarding school. Being used by "friends" for his fame and money and having trust issues ?  These are elements from the real man that you can incorporate . Freddie is a fascinating character to work with in fan fiction.  I empathize with Clara's feelings and behaviour but technically what she is doing to Anthony isn't right either, but we can understand why she is acting that way ? So maybe focusing on having us understand why Freddie acted that way. Or maybe he and Clara can bond over being flawed human beings  ? Maybe that is the commonality that brings them together ?  Or maybe Clara ends up hurting Freddie herself or doing something that Freddie needs to forgive her for ? It is interesting when you can reverse polarity in a relationship  ... I have total faith in your talent and trust your judgment.. and I am happy to help with suggestions (like a beta reader)... You laid the important groundwork of creating palpable physical and emotional chemistry between Freddie and Clara... (which isn't easy to do) .. and I want to see these characters interact ...Both in and out of the bedroom  :)

I think they are destined to be together. Maybe they go to therapy to get past his betrayal. Then It  could be the great romance story with loads of steamy sex!

@Maddie497353 @Maddie497353 I leave it a little up to interpretation, because I want people to have their own image of her, how they would like her to look. But in Liar she had long brown hair (a much lighter shade than Freddie's), she's average sized, just like a healthy body weight, full lips, brown eyes. She has a fringe. Only a little shorter than Freddie and Roger. Maybe like 5'7? 
            
            In IA she's cut her hair down to her shoulders and she's lost a lot of weight because she's a miserable woman now.
            
            Someone said they picture her as Devyn Crimson and I think that's pretty accurate.
