Yeah, the reason behind that is most often they believe it’s inappropriate to text people younger than them. Not to brush too wide a stroke on everyone, but I don’t understand how chatting with someone online is inappropriate, unless you believe there’s a capacity for you, the older person, to have ulterior motives.
