It's really nice out today and I went outside to write, but now I want to read or work on 'Anatomy of Prose' prompts instead. Curse my heavy laptop that makes it really inconvenient to move around. At the very least, it'll still be a productive weekend, it'll just a bit of a lazy productive weekend.

@MJisawesome24838 but I have work in the morning, so I'm going to read for a bit and go to bed. Ttyl

Hi-Its-MJ

I’m not tired either. And I don’t want to sleep anyways.

Last night I was working on 'The Captive Prince' and took a step back after my writing session to look up some...details...just to make sure I'm getting it as accurate as possible. It got way darker than I thought it would with these details. Now I'm questioning if it's too early for this type of angst and if I'm actually okay.
Then again, I've seen fics with darker stuff happen to these characters, so I might be okay?

I know I only wrote a couple of chapters for TCP, but it's really hard to keep a decent schedule for that without taking time away from my actual projects and school work. I don't want to say I'm going to stop writing it, but I may just during the school year. I'm too worried about the deadlines I set for myself and it's not very fun for me.

I may come back to it over the summer, IDK, but I need to focus on the projects that may start my writing career.

          I hope you understand. <3

College classes started last Monday, I think it goes without saying that I'm pretty busy at the moment. I'm focusing on a submission for the literary magazine, but once that's done I'll focus on TCP. I might not get it out by the end of October since the due date for the submission is due at the beginning of October and it's hard enough to find the time to write between school and work.

This is just a warning ahead of time. The schedule will go back to normal during breaks.

I finished the first draft for Ch. 1 of "The Captive Prince" earlier today. I'm planning on taking a short break away from it before I get started on editing. My current plan is to get it out a week before school starts. Until then I'll see you around:)
