people often ask, what is the meaning of life? What is the reason to carry on? Why do we do the things we do? Well the answer to all of those things is very simple my friends.
Fanfiction.
When you read a fanfiction, smut or fluff, you are transported to a magical world of fun and excitement that is unrivaled by any other medium. I create stories for the people, I act as the voice of the voiceless. Fanfiction is more than an artform, it's a lifestyle. Anytime someone tries to shut you down, or stop you, or insult your craft... You get back up, straighten your hat, and keep working till that thing you made is EXACTLY what you want it to be. Because art is subjective everyone, don't think yours is bad just because someone doesn't understand it. What matters is how you feel, do you like it? If not then keep at it until you do. And when you finally make it to the point where you can look at your work and say proudly to yourself "this is mine, I created this"... Then you have, truly, perfected your craft.
