just came on here to say with new season of percy jackson the fandom is even more alive now and just know i will defend annabeth chase with my life because i can not with those ridiculous claims “she abusive” like did we read the same books?!?!?
also her mischaracterization in fandom of her being this cold, stoic, emotionless character when in reality, she's a character full of love.
like we talking about annabeth the same girl who always believed in goodness of Luke because she had faith in his humanity?!
the same girl who whispered “i love you” to percy before falling into tartarus because she wanted those to be her last words?!??

YES! Annabeth has such a wonderful character growth going from reserved and self-serving to becoming so bold and open to love and a wonderful leader. Ppl just want to create their own narrative to justify their dislike. and I’m not ready for the racists to come back and use the mischaracterization as a way to paint Leah as a bad annabeth. I’m a Leahbeth and Annabeth defender for life
