Assalamualaikum to my beautiful supporters and friends, I know it has been  quite some time since I have posted anything on here and I apologize, life has been a whirlwind these past few years. I hope you all are doing great! I have a few updates for you all let’s see, I got married recently Alhamdulilah!! I also became a teacher which is what I have been studying to become for a long time, again Alhamdulilah this is due to Allah. I know that the world seems like it is on fire right now, especially for my Somali brothers and sisters. I just wanted to say how proud I am to be Somali, no matter how bad the media paints us out to be. I come from a nation of poets, scholars, artists and freedom fighters. A nation with the clearest blue waters and whitest sands. The actions of a few do not represent a whole nation of people. I hope that my fellow Somalis continue to feel that pride as well because we know who we are and no one else can tell us otherwise <3 Also it’s forever free Palestine!

Hey guys, I know it’s been almost two years since I’ve last posted anything on here and I apologize. Honestly, I’m not sure if anyones even going to read this but I had to post just in case. I know that you guys have seen what going on right now in between Israel and Palestine. We need use our voices right now and speak up for our brothers and sisters in Gaza who are being killed in their own homes. What happening right now is not a war. It is GENOCIDE, apartheid and ethnic cleansing in it purest form. Our Palestinian brothers and sisters are being wiped off the face of the earth in thousands. Entire families are being ERASED and the world is just watching this. But the one thing that they’ve asked of us is to use our voices and speak for them because they currently cannot. Those zionists have cut off electricity, food, water and blocked off all the exists so they have no where to go. And if that isn’t bad enough they are bombing residential areas, hospitals, mosques, churches and schools. No where is safe. What the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians needs to stop. We all need to raise our voices for the voiceless. Like Martin Luther King Jr said “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere!”. The media is trying to paint a very different picture so we need to speak the truth. Please spread awareness in any way you can and make dua for Palestine!
