Haha I love his personality! For some reason it's not letting me leave comments so I gotta tell you here. Anyway, I really like your topic. I just have to say one thing, in books, every time a different character speaks you should start a new paragraph. Example:
Eli walks up to me in the school hallway and gives me a rye smile, "hey gorgeous, how ya doin'?"
I glare at him and wrinkle me nose, "back off jerk face." I side step Eli whom is smiling like a two year old. "And don't bother following me!"
(This was just a random scenario) but do you see what I mean? Anyway I'm not trying to tell you your doing anything wrong, I'm only trying to help you become a better writer.
