Tangled in Her Curls

After disaster strikes, 27 year old Ronnie abandons her almost-completed PhD program in Biblical studies and flees to New York City, the furthest she can get from her native Oregon home.
Alienating herself from her family and her God, Ronnie takes a job at Pizazz! magazine, where she'll be blogging about her adventures as a single girl in the city that never sleeps. Since Ronnie would rather stay in, wear sweats, and eat pizza, she soon fabricates an exciting life that she knows she'll never have.
A couple months later Ronnie meets Jack, a guitarist in a Christian rock band. His solid faith causes Ronnie to reexamine her own beliefs and values.
Will she continue to compromise those values as she writes as Veronica, NYC party girl? Will her convictions challenge her to complete her dissertation? And what happens if Jack finds out how Ronnie's been paying the rent since she's been in New York?
