I have unpublished all of my works on here because I'm not risking Wattpad deciding to suddenly take stories of mine down again for community guideline violations after idk years of the story being on here. No one is reading it anyways, why the sudden car?
Polyvore is gone and I'm literally crying, I used that website to make sets/outfits for almost all of my characters and now it's just gone and I was given no notice on the site. The notice was an email I found only after going into polyvore to edit an outfit and it stopped working, and the email was sent to me today. I feel very hurt and betrayed and I hate this so much.
No, it isn't the fault of a consciousless weapon that people are dying, because it had no choice in its creation. It is the fault of us for allowing it to get out of control. I'm sorry, but your right to bare arms isn't going to bring back the lives of the victims that have already lost their lives. Wake up America, take a look at what's happening, people keep getting shot and I keep hearing that throwing MORE fuel onto the fire is the solution. This may make you upset, but that doesn't mean I am sorry for having said it. I don't like guns, and after the events that continue to take place because of them, I don't think I will become a fan anytime soon.
With the recent police shootings I decided that it was time to throw my voice into the ring. I'm not going to try to speak on behalf of the police, nor am I going to bad mouth them. The same goes for the African American population, I am not going to pretend that I completely understand your struggles. However, I will share my thoughts on the weapons that were used to kill these people. Yes, that's right, I'm going to talk about guns and probably offend some people. In my eyes, the only use you could have for a gun is hunting. I don't believe in trophy hunting, but if you want to kill a deer once a year so that you can have some venison, go right ahead. The problem arises when someone uses their gun to harm humans. Mass shootings have almost become the norm for us, which is sickening to me, as it should be to you no matter your stance on guns. Guns are made to kill and harm people, there isn't any other use that I'm aware of. "Oh, no, they protect people too" and in this "protection" are people not being shot? In order to protect yourself, you are injuring another human being. I can't tell you what we should do with guns, because handing them out to everyone or banning them completely seems like it will have negative effects either way. I can only tell you that I think we need to make a change, a change that involves less guns.
Does anyone know how to fix Wattpad email notifications? I've tried all the things they recommend, but it hasn't helped at all.
