I wrote a new poem after a very long time
Hope y'all like it ;p
It's called "I wonder why"
......
If she is a star
Then shes too far away
She's high up in the sky
Listening to my mistakes
She tells me that she loves me
Yet all she does is hide
Behind the fakeade of this world
She's too afraid to try
If love was all she ever had
Then love is what made her cry
They say she is the brightest among the stars
Yet I wonder why she's falling apart ?

I just found out that my best friend likes the guy whom I had a crush on for so many years (and who also rejected me in the most brutal way)
And turns out he likes her too....
But I'm not sad nor do I feel betrayed
even though she knows how long I've suffered because of him she still told me that they both like each other and I had to act as if I don't even remember him lol.
It's funny how I cried every night at the thought of him with someone else and now I feel nothing
Because in all the years of loving him I've come to realize that love is not something we can choose... it comes in our lives at moments we never expected and breaks us apart everyday. It teaches us that not everything is meant to be ours..
but I hope they will be happy together...

@rain-again- What I've been through is actually noting it's been a long time and truthfully when she told me that I laughed it off and we all made jokes about it but in the end no one knows what I've been through and the only one who knew ended up betraying me But there are people who are going through even worse situations and just know that I'm always here even though we haven't seen each other but I'm here if you wanna talk I know what it's like to have yourself broken and treated like you are worth nothing I've been in situations where I wanted someone to look at me and ask me if I'm okay but I've always been alone even though I have loving people around me I can't talk heart to heart with them
