I'm a writer from Northern California. I work in insurance by day, but also by day (I need my beauty rest), I write.

My goal is to write for a living.

My favorite genres to read and to write are firmly entrenched in the SF/SFF/Tolkein Fantasy veins. I enjoy steampunk-like aesthetic elements, and try to update my favorite tropes and stories into more egalitarian, pro-LGBT+ and PoC-inclusive narratives.

Social justice is very important to me. Writing good stories is my passion, and what I want to wrap my life around. Putting the two together just makes sense.

In 2016, you can look out for:
1. A small collection of short-stories tentatively titled "Witches of Iron".
2. A novel currently titled "Thick"

Most of my work features LGBT+ and/or PoC as main or co-main characters. I have a soft spot for familiars, urban magic, and the juxtaposition of urban and rural themes.
