Things that help me with my mental health:

          	1. Sleep. If i haven't slept well the night before I found myself unable to focus on anything, especially school.

          	2. Water. Keeping hydrated through the day is very important to assure you get the amount of water your body needs. Especially when its hot.

          	3. Music. I listen to music while playing or reading and it makes me forget about everything. Just have that 30 minutes or an hour of alone time, it helps a lot.

          	4. Make time for yourself in the morning. I can't even describe how helpful this is. Wake up an hour before your alarm, put on music and eat a proper breakfast / drink coffee. I promise you, it helps.

Especially if you have a big loud family, it can sometimes get overwhelming and you just need an hour of quietness. Wake up before everyone else, have coffee, watch TV, etc.
You can do a lot in an hour.

My apologies for sliding into your Conversations board uninvited. I just wanted to grab your attention to my stories.
There is an arranged marriage romance "Billion Dollar Wedding", a High School romance "My Enemy, My Stalker", a young adult College Romance "Unravelling Aurora", and some mafia romances "Mafia and Miss Honey", "His Captive".
Once again, I'm sorry for intruding.
           Have a nice day ahead!

Today I was on the school yard on my phone, sitting on the ground and casually minding my own business. Little further away there were two girls and a boy talking. Both of the girls were staring at me, and of course I stared back. Or more like glared. I was annoyed at them for staring.

But now I'm quite proud of myself for not shying away from it, I guesss I've become a lot more comfortable in my own skin. I'm quite awkward and shy to new people, so holding that kind of eye contact is a big thing for me.

All I'm saying, even if you are the most anxious or shy person, it can get better. With the right people around you and a positive environment, it's easier to be yourself.
It doesn't matter if you're not 100% confident because that's just unrealistic, but with baby steps it will get easier. Start with eating healthy, taking care of your body or getting a haircut, whatever makes you feel good. You can always have bad days, it's normal.

Making my bed in the morning has been very helpful for my mental health, because it makes me feel productive. That's what I've done every morning for the past couple of months. So find something that makes you feel good mentally, stay hydrated and eat well.

A year ago I would have looked down because holding eye contact is intense, especially when you are insecure. But I found myself becoming more confident recently, I don't even mind putting my hair up when walking in the hallways. Usually I hid my face with my hair, so it says a lot.
