Back in 2019, I wrote an essay about “Kissing is the Easy Part” and how much it meant to me. Still to this day, I check on your page every year to see how much it means to other people and it makes me happy to see how you still check in and reply to comments. My biggest wish is to have a physical copy one day. I hope it comes true!

Even though KAON is technically the happy ending where characters find growth separately and together, it is also the sadder one. In KITEP, despite the differences, hurt & breakup it felt like Sean and flora were irreplaceable in each other’s lives. But in KAON, we see them drifting with a real possibility of moving on. Turns out their feelings were not unique and fully capable of changing. Bittersweet. This contrast is beautiful and painful at the same time. I love how you showed time feels much longer when they were younger (in highschool) and 75 parts only about 1 year later of their life. While the 16 parts of KAON covered a decade and how time slips during adulthood. Even if it wasn’t intentional

It had been quite some time since I had had the nth re-read of Sean and Flora's story. I love it so much and I love your writing. I miss the entire gang so much. Thank you for writing all these stories. I'm at a quite different phase in life from the first time I read them, and it's a weird sort of a feeling (in a nice way). Do you plan on writing anything new anytime soon?
