pros/cons of having a blue ironclad beetle [from my three weeks of having one :•(]
            
            pros:
            • r e a l l y cool
            • they won't get scared and run away from you
            • they won't get hurt if you accidentally drop them because they're so tiny
            • you don't have to buy specific food for them unless you want to give them beetle jelly
            • the hotter it is, the brighter blue they turn
            • they don't need water bowls because they get the water they need from food
            • they can't climb completely smooth things like terrarium walls
            • meant to live for 8 years if healthy
            
            cons:
            • it can be hard to research certain things
            • they don't play with toys or anything
            • they play dead and it's fucking scary
            • it's hard to know if they're sick or not
            • can easily be lost or killed :•(
            • very fragile
            • they walk right off of your hand

from that it sounds like the best she can do is mcdonalds istg
