An author I’m currently looking up to added one of my fics that hasn’t been updated in awhile to their library and now I’m super close to rewriting it just because they’re reading it

Nah, I can’t believe I’m even considering it

Dead serious when I say I had to call the cops today-

Anyways, so I was driving home from work and from one side of town ALL THE WAY to the other this car was swerving over the yellow line.

It wasn’t bad at first, just noticeable, UNTIL they were driving a good portion on the other side of the road! Like, fully in the other lane!

I pulled my phone out so quick and called the cops cause they almost hit someone.

I got their plate and color of the car before I had to turn away since I was going the opposite direction as them.

Shout out to the nice lady who answered my call and reassured me that I did the right thing! It was my first time ☺️

Thank you!! More people need to take drunk drivers more seriously, especially because it might be a medical emergency instead.

I remember calling the police the first time because a homeless man had fallen asleep in the middle of the road in front of my house. I was nervous that for some reason the responder would tell me it wasn’t an emergency but I think I did the right thing. He was laying in front of a bend where the house on the end had a raised front yard. It’s nerve-racking but worth it, who knows who that person could’ve hit if you didn’t call <3

Y’all I found my first ever piece of fanart.

I had Mal’s diary in like 4th-5th grade and I drew fanart of ships… Aphmau ships. I shipped Lucinda and Zane, Kawaii Chan and Dante, Katelyn and Travis and finally… Aphmau and Garroth.

I am so ashamed of the art. It’s so bad-

@rainydoesnothing I got rid of all my old sketch books and I’m not sure if I’m sad that I can’t look back at old art or thankful lol

Met an old lady tonight at my job who asked me what my plans after work were. Told her I was trying to watch the Marvel movies and she goes “oh, my favorite movie is Thor!”

Mind you, she is around the same age as my grandma. So I said “oh I just watched that one, I LOVE Tom Hiddleston.”

… when I tell you her eyes went wide, hand to her chest, and she gasped loudly while saying “Oh my god, I love him too!”

She then proceeded to fangirl to me about how hot he was as Loki in one of the Avenger movies and she ended it with “Villains, gotta love em.”

Idk what her name was, but I strive to be her one day.

Connecting with other generations about something you’re super passionate about is such a good mood booster, it absolutely makes my day

Hi guys, it’s my birthday! I’m 19 now! Crazy to think I’m closer to being 20 than I was to being 15. Just yesterday I was thinking about how far I’ve come with writing and reading fanfiction.

To those who have stuck with me for years, thank you. I know my younger self was the definition of cringe. And to those who are somewhat newer, thanks for sticking around as well!

I appreciate every single one of my followers and readers. Without you, I wouldn’t have the courage to post some of my fics.

Hate being the responsible hostess at my job. All the other hosts come flocking to me when they gotta miss a shift and they never help me in return. I really don’t want to end up working a 10-7 because someone forgot to take off for a rodeo tournament.

Like girl, I got college tests I need to get done and I don’t have time!

My mom does the same thing as a nurse, always taking others’ shifts out of the kindness of her heart and never catching a break. It’s good to be a reliable coworker, but exhausting if you don’t put your foot down — it can really hurt you if you never say no. Sometimes you should tell people no, even when you don’t have a “real reason”. It helps them realize they can’t keep relying on others as and when they please yknow? Coworkers like that need a reality check

@rainydoesnothing I've been there dun that, honestly I would stop helping them... If its causing you more stress and effecting personal matters. Then if they were scheduled and decided to go out then it's on them. Don't make your job harder than it needs to be because if your job ain't paying you overtime for picking up others shifts then stop doing all together and focus on you
