"The Katipunero and I" now has 950k reads! Road to 1 million reads! ✨ Salamat sa regalong ito sa unang araw ng 2026. October 2013 ko unang sinulat at na-publish ang TKAI, without any intent of making it this far. I just want to enjoy writing and share stories of the what-ifs inside my head.
          
          
          Throughout the years, "The Katipunero and I" had a long and bittersweet journey. May mga panahon na atat akong magkaroon ng sandamakmak na readers at maka-1 million reads agad. I'm glad I did some thinking and realizations that I'm still a writer,  and my worth is not tied to the number of followers and reads count, or how many people bought the book version of TKAI. What matters is, I loved doing this story and all my other stories.
          
          
          I'm very happy at this point. And very thankful to all of you readers who made this possible. I hope TKAI touched your lives and made you smile. ❤️ 
          
          
          Believe that your season will come at the right time. 

Before 2025 ends, I would like to thank everyone who has read my stories, followed my Wattpad account, and even on my social media accounts.
          A lot of you are silent readers/supporters, yet I appreciate the reads you gave to each of my stories. 
          
          
          I hope my tales here made you smile, helped you heal, and strengthened your hearts. ❤ Even if you don't tell me, but if my stories made you a better person, I have done my job as a writer. And I will still continue to do my craft as a dream weaver of tales that give purpose, healing, and hope. ✨

          4. Feel free to read other works and be a fan of different authors. Extreme loyalty is something I don't encourage, as we all have our own talents to offer to the right audience. As a reader, you will also grow by exploring other stories.
          
          5. Do not idolize me. I'm bound to disappoint you, human as I am. I am still learning and growing. Know the difference between healthy admiration and blind admiration. 
          
          6. Think before you post. Practice the 4-Way Test  by Rotary Club, as one of my friends taught me. Here it is:
          
          Is it the TRUTH? 
          Is it FAIR to all concerned? 
          Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 
          Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

          Today is the 12th anniversary of this account, together with the anniversary date of "The Katipunero and I." Whoa, I never expected I'll last this long here, writing and filling up this side of the Internet with my stories, a.k.a. "the what-ifs in my head." I never thought that I'll go this far here, as far as getting my first story here published as a physical book. 
          
          
          I think the secret to lasting here as a writer in Watty PH is to enjoy doing what you love and learning as you go along. Don't be defined by your numbers. Don't let your followers or read stats limit you from creating out of love and hard work. There are times as well that you will feel less because of comparison, but please work on this within yourself. Just because others have it more, it doesn't lessen your shine. You will shine at the right time.  ✨
          
          
          And even if you don't get most of the things you wished for as a writer, trust that there's something better in store for you along the way. Rejections can be protection and redirection. What matters is the journey more than the destination. Don't rush things.  So, enjoy your life journeys, whether you're a fellow writer, a reader, or someone who's dreaming of becoming a writer.
