My name is Raja Nassif. I’m a 31 year old violinist and pianist living in New York City. I was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and I have been studying music my entire life. I have obtained a master’s degree in both music performance and music composition from The Juilliard School, which has allowed me to accomplish many things in my short lifetime. I've had the great and fortunate honor of playing in symphony orchestras and composing for smaller ensembles. I've taught a violin master class, and conducted chamber music. I am also a lesbian who has been labeled a female lothario. This is a memoir of short stories, past and present. You will read about my own personal experiences and struggles with my career, mild alcoholism, sex addiction, religion, and feminism. I hope you enjoy.
