Software engineer by profession, but amateur writer in my spare time. I am a big fan of gothic stories and science-fiction, both to read and write. I only write in my spare time for fun.  At the moment, I write a lot of what I call episodes. Those are like literary trailers, that is not yet a part of a bigger work. This is a great way to creatively just get going with writing. 
   At the moment, I am working on a short story collection: Through a Forest Lake's Calm Surface, Darkly. It will be a collection of dark, futuristic horror stories and science-fiction. Four of the stories in it are already published here separately: Mark Dewitt , The Summer Boy, Chrysalis and Home, Sweet Home. 
I have read a lot of literature through my life that has inspired me greatly, however, the author that has had the highest impact on me is probably Ray Bradbury.
