I am heavily considering removing Lifelines from Wattpad. That novella was written solely to help me cope with the passing of Cameron Boyce and it has not aged well at all. From half the music artists referenced being exposed for heinous behavior, to a cancer diagnosis in my own family, to facing Alex’s mental health struggles myself, I’m not comfortable rewriting it. I was warned this book might come back to haunt me and it did. Everything I write does. If it disappears, don’t be surprised.

Well I was considering putting some Stage Hearts stuff back on Wattpad, specifically the stuff Andrew has read, but after learning that Wattpad uses AI to scan through work through the announcement for the 5SOS fanfic contest, that’s probably not going to happen.

Using AI to judge a fanfic contest is wrong and disgusting, especially when your selling point is that one of the 5SOS members will be personally judging the finalists (which will be picked by AI). If you use AI to judge contests, then I have no reason to believe you won’t use it to steal my work.

@randomfangirl6519 that's understandable, especially with everything going on nowadays.

Hope to see Stage Hearts in bookstores someday! <3

@FRINOOOOOOOOOO honestly, I have nowhere else to put it. I’m probably done putting my stuff online for now considering how many fic sites are having AI issues. Especially since Stage Hearts is getting serious, I can’t afford to have it stolen.

It’s been a few months and it’s safe to say that the only one who is a bigger Oliver Carowski fanperson than me is Andrew Keenan Bolger. Seriously, the man is such an Oliver fanboy (and a HUGE Holiver shipper) and it’s adorable.

It has come to my attention that two of the music artists heavily referenced in Lifelines have been exposed for degenerate behavior, specifically DAGames and Panic! At the Disco. The book will remain up, but I felt I needed to issue a disclaimer regarding the book. I no longer support DAGames and am working on breaking my emotional attachment to Panic! At the Disco. I will be posting an official disclaimer on the book and will be rewriting it someday to remove all real life music/game references.

@randomfangirl6519 DAGames too? Dang, thanks for telling us!

So as of this past Tuesday, Broadway star (and my dear friend) Andrew Keenan Bolger has read the outlines of the full Stage Hearts trilogy as well as Chain Breaker via email. I’m beyond flattered and honored to say that he is a HUGE fan and his favorite character is Oliver. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so excited or happy. He is a writer, too, and I’m going to take this opportunity to encourage you all to check out his Jack and Louisa trilogy! His writing style is nearly identical to mine, so you might enjoy it.

UPDATE: Due to life once again throwing some horrible curveballs my way, I will not be rewriting Lifelines anytime soon. A very close family member has been diagnosed with cancer and is not well. Given the subject matter of Lifelines, I am already unstable and cannot handle it right now.

Okay, I’m done writing romance for a while. I’m sick of having to write male characters that the fandom just ruins.

I’m going to give you the stories of my childhood imaginary friends. They’re all minors, so behave. No romance. I’m also planning on rewriting Lifelines.

I hope you are ready for feels, childhood joy, and action.

@randomfangirl6519 I'm in!

(Personally I'm not much of a romance person not gonna lie.)

Okay folks, listen up. Let me give you some rules that I play by when writing.

          1. If they’re minors and crushing, they don’t kiss. They’ll hug or hold hands, but nothing else.

          2. If they’re over 18 and dating, they’ll kiss at least once, but very respectfully and never anything beyond that.

          3. No couple will ever live in the same house unless married. The exception for this is Taflen Chronicles (Tamara and Jonathan both serve in the same castle as wardens of the same queen, but their sleeping quarters are on opposite sides of the castle until they are married).

          4. If someone’s name is a pop culture reference, especially if they’re a dude, they’re going to go through some stuff. 75% of the characters in Country Crew are blatant pop culture references. ESPECIALLY Moe.

          5. This is more of a fun fact. When I rewrite Country Crew, it’s going to be a novella series. There will be four of them. The characters will be aged up to their late teens/early twenties. The only main human character whose name is not a pop culture reference is Kat, and the only animals whose names are not a pop culture reference are Lollipop and Rudy.
