I've been reading "Take Me to Hawaii" and I love it so much, but I've been writing my own story and was wondering if you could check it out maybe correct me or give me advice because my friends and family have seen it and I think its kinda biased on what they're telling me.

@something44444 hello againnn!! I've been keeping up with your story as much as I can but did reread last night. I like where it's going but I think with the type of story you are writing foreshadowing is going to be your best friend. In your Ethan Pov chapter you mention that he's lost his ability to mind read: now would be a great time to hint as to why eg: something is out of place in his room or he notices something in Abigails house. Idk what caused his loss of power so I can't exactly tell you what to do but dropping hints of the reason now will keep readers on their toes and will provide a more satisfying conclusion once it's revealed. As for Abby's character and her home situation the show not tell tecjnique would work really well here eg: instead of having her complain about the shouting and abuse from her family hint to bruises on her arm with her use of makeup/colour correcting concealer to hide wounds or have her flinch at sudden noises or get agitated easily. To be honest, the best way to learn new techniques is to keep reading other people's work and note how they use different techniques. I'm really excited to see where the story goes and hope you keep up with writing because as cliché as the saying is practice truly does make perfect <3

Chapter 35 of Take Me to Hawaii (TMTH) has been updated and rewritten because I didn't like it <3 updates will be slower as I've got personal stuff going on and am figuring out how the rest of the plot will go (aka I made alterations without thinking of the consequences :p )
