@GrimJulius I was relieved to know that Adam would be fine. But I can't help but empathize with Dominic. It doesn't seem like he wants to hurt Adam, he just wants to love him and be loved, but he doesn't know how. He doesn't understand how relationships work and he can't see past his own desires and needs. He doesn't understand that he's hurting Adam. I honestly feel sorry for him, he's clearly not okay. This doesn't excuse or justify his behaviour of course, it's just sad he turned out this way.

I normally don't read stories with characters that are so young, and I honestly didn't expect to like it, but it was so well written and mature-- I couldn't stop reading it once I started. (And I'm extremely picky when it comes to books). The characters feel real and the pace isn't rushed, which I think is great cause it makes the emotional payoff much better.
