Hello! Long time, long time.
          
          It was an attempt only a few people knew about because for me, it was a long shot, to begin with. But now that the results are out, I would like to share the good news to you all who have been part of my writing journey.
          
          *cue slow heartbeat*
          
          A Second Strike Of Lightning has been shortlisted in The Wattys 2022!!! WOOHOO!!!
          
          Thank you all for your support, and for the love you've given to this story—which is now proudly wearing the badge of a Wattys finalist!
          
          The announcement of winners will be on November 19th (I think?). But even so, the fact that this fanfic got through the preliminaries and is now part of the shortlist makes me feel like a winner already. Aaaaaahhhhh... my heart is truly grateful.

Hello everyone,
          
          I hope you all had a blast last week. Aaaahhh... Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are finally married. Can you believe it? Now, the crumbs we have to watch out for are those from the wedding—as well as their future adventures as a married couple. There will be drought for sure, given how firm Hyun Bin's stand is on privacy. Although at least, we can sleep soundly knowing that they too are sleeping soundly in each other's arms.
          
          For life.
          
          This is real, guys; there is no need for us to imagine anymore. ❤️
          
          
          Having said that, I am putting all my stories on hold. (For the nth time, I know. Feel free to ignore me and my intermittent, spur-of-the-moment breaks.)
          
          To be honest, I was contemplating whether to go on or not when there is no point in making believe anymore. Fiction was our coping mechanism once upon a time. And now, we don't have to. Then again, my gut tells me that I will continue—in next month, the months after that, or even longer—and there will still be people who will lurk on WP and AO3 like me. Not because we have to wonder again, but because we want to always be reminded of the magical time that was.

          On this day exactly a year ago, I published the Prologue and the first two chapters of Finding You. I thought (knowing my tendency to procrastinate and not finish things I start doing) I would not be able to complete it, but with your patience and support, I had supplementary motivation to write the Epilogue — along with several special chapters, one-shots, and a spin-off.
          
          It is a story that ended in October 2020, and by some miracle, there are people who are finding it now. There are new names in my notifications; surprisingly, there are familiar ones too. And to be honest, I am humbled how it continues to garner re-reads and comments from those who have already enjoyed the tale in the past.
          
          Finding You is only one of the hundreds of fan fictions inspired by BinJin, and it was never massive when it was ongoing. Yet, it had steady readership, and it sparked insightful discussions in the comments section — something I will always be grateful for and take pride in.
          
          To those who from time to time think of and wonder about a certain Mistress of Catastrophe and Officer Kim, about the mercurial deities and a loyal grim reaper, about a witty young man who was not good with Math... THANK YOU SO MUCH! It warms my heart to know that in this lifetime and in this realm, the characters I've created and their stories do not live in my mind alone.

It's been a while.
          
          I hope everyone is safe and well, and please take care of yourselves. The pandemic is hitting closer and closer to home as we see people we know and those we work with experience the symptoms. It's scary, but we have to be strong.
          
          I owe some of you an apology for not being able to respond to your messages on a timely manner. And even when I do, it's just me saying "I'm okay. Thank you for checking on me."
          
          Truth is, I really don't know what to say. Or maybe I do, but I am being very careful. But really, I'm okay, and I am truly grateful for your well-wishes. I hope you guys know how your warm messages kept me on an even keel during certain storms.
          
          I would also like to ask for your understanding if my ongoing fics might take a while to get updated. I am embarassed whenever someone asks me when will I get back to writing IALIAR or CY — and writing per se. It's not because I am being put on the spot; it's because I don't have an answer to that too. I tried several times to get back to it, writing a draft chapter after another, only to scratch everything out. It's frustrating.
          
          So, here I am, trying to get my groove back by writing a short novella about Dooly post-canon.
          
          Not-so-fun Fact: I have rarely written Dooly stuff. To me, it is like a tricky genre to work on, a subject you must never mess up. But I have to keep the gears turning and try, and revisiting our star-crossed lovers seems like a good idea.
          
          "Hello Again" is an epistolary novella about Se Ri and Jeong Hyeok post-First Flieger, and I hope to give a different spin to that happy ending we all loved. It's a six-part story, and I would like to say sorry in advance for the updates for this fic will also be behind schedule. Still, I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that you'll like it. :)

Hello! Happy midweek!
          
          My fics are back as you may have noticed recently (I apologize for spamming your notifs, if ever.). No changes whatsoever; it was just a bad time, so I took them all down. No updates as well, unfortunately, because I have to take a step back so I can get other things done.
          
          So for those who were asking for the continuation of my ongoing stories, thank you — and please know that I am not abandoning them. As soon as I finish my tasks and find some motivation to proceed, I will write again.
