Congrats to Joy and Crush!!!
It’s been awhile since I stopped shipping Sungjoy and simply saw them as two characters that appeared in my fics, but I can’t deny that I did feel some slight disappointment at the news. Nonetheless, I wish Joy a happy relationship with Crush because her happiness will always be more important than a ship.
That being said, I have no problem with those that continue to ship Sungjoy. I just beg that you keep your boundaries. No spamming Instagram or YouTube comments, no asking about the other on their lives, no more connecting everything they do to the other. None of these were okay in the first place, but, now that Joy is in a relationship, this is especially important. Please respect Joy and Crush’s relationship. Dating as idols is already difficult enough without having a ship pushed onto them.
Additionally, I’m not quite sure what I’ll do with all the fics I started drafting. Most of them are far from completion as I’m a slow and lazy writer, but these several months of chipping away at them and refining what few paragraphs I have written over and over again were meaningful to me. As a result, I’m hesitant to just throw them away. I might repurpose some of these fic ideas for other ships(most likely Changrong), but it is unlikely that I’ll continue to write for Sungjoy. It might be awhile until I post though as I start my junior year of high school in a week and that should keep me pretty busy.
