gun violence is wrong no matter who the victim is. i have many condolences for the woman who lost her husband and the two little girls that lost their father today. but i will NOT apologize for not having a single ounce of empathy towards the man that has used their platform to advocate AGAINST the rights of people of color, lgbtqia+ people, and women and has spent their time arguing FOR what lead to his death.
murder is murder. whoever decides to use their free will in the most disgusting way possible, does not deserve any kind of celebration or thanks.
but let's not forget that there was also a school shooting today in colorado and three students are critically injured. and that a few weeks ago there was a massive school shooting at a catholic school were not even teenagers were shot and killed.
to anyone who sides with less gun control... it's the number one cause of death in america, so yes, it is a horrible issue. no one should have to "unfortunately" get brutally murdered bc their government simply doesn't care about them enough.
no one should ever have to go through that pain.
(sorry for the rant, but i need to talk about it)
