the acceptance of the lgbtq+ community in my country is lowering significantly. we’re supposed to be the most accepting country, we made history by being the first country to legalize gay marriage. how are we going backwards this bad? will i eventually not be allowed to be myself?
          
          in just 4 years time, among 12—16 year-olds, the acceptance women give the lgbtq+ lowered from over 78% to 51%. men’s acceptance lowered from 40% to 22%. that is bad, and the way the adults talk about it made me realize that their acceptance is even lower than the teenagers’.
          
          if you’re “homophobic” you are just an asshole.
