A child is taught to hate.
It doesn't come naturally.
A baby isn't born a racist, it's taught to hate for a reason.
A baby isn't a homophobe; it chooses to discriminate from the things it learns.
A child is born with the ability to learn and grow.
A child is born with a personality, but one which flourishes upbringing.
A baby can't do math, or speak a language.
Everything a person knows, it is taught.
Beliefs divide the world.
Yet we aren't born with our own beliefs, we choose them from the knowledge we gain about the world around us the people around us.
A child does not need to be taught to love.
Just learn to be afraid of love.
The rest comes naturally.
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”
-John Lennon
There’s a little bit of truth behind every ‘just kidding’,
A little curiosity behind every ‘just wondering’,
A little knowledge behind every ‘I don’t know’,
And a little emotion behind every “I don’t care’.
