Well everyone, It has been over a year since I published the third chapter of my Alex G Fanfiction "THE ROAD AHEAD" (Abbreviated to "TRA.") I cannot make excuses as to why it took so long to churn out the fourth one, especially considering that it's filler, and barely progresses the plot in any shape or form, but it's done. I can rest. I can sleep. 
          
          It seems as if the community has grown quiet, similar to the days when me and my dear friend Baileyneedsboots69 started out, back when Paradise Giannascoli was a concept fresh and ripe like fruit off the trellis. Those were some good days--but it's lonely now. Once you get a taste of unity, it harbours greed. 
          
          I doubt anyone will read this, nor respond, and I'm making a fool out of myself like always, but if you have an idea--WRITE IT. Creativity is such a beautiful thing, so full of soul... and there will always be someone out there who'll appreciate it; i'm always on the lookout for up-and-coming Salex fanfiction, sifting through the tag desperately for even the smallest crumb... it would be a miracle to see a resurgence in the community. Sure, I'm just an old man rambling on about this and that, but that's just my two cents...
          
          During my period of inactivity, Alex released his new album "Headlights" ! What a magnificent, poignant, incredible piece of art. I will most likely be infatuated with him up until the day I die. The reason I bring it up, though, is because it makes a cheeky reference to my fanfiction!

My marriage may be in shambles, my job has irreversibly impacted my perception on meat and animals, and my children call me "Chopped Unc," but Giannascoli guides me through it all; a firefly in the fog, headlights on a car... drive me through the yellow pine trees...

Hello fans, 
          
          Wow. I’ve been gone for a while… I want to reassure everyone that I have NOT abandoned TRA nor have i quit writing; in fact, I try to indulge in it whenever i get the time. My life has just been a rollercoaster and Wattpad now feels like a paradise that only exists in my daydreams. Just like Alex G…
          
          Some of you may remember the early days where I had to hide my hobbies from my wife, but that isn’t much of a problem anymore—the problem is she thinks I am a homosexual in denial. Yes, i’m oversharing, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of complaining about this to a marriage councillor. I am not gay, but I am not “straight” either. These label schmabels are insulting and just make life more difficult… can’t I just love Alex Giannascoli in peace? Hopefully a few of you understand this turmoil. 
          
          Moving on. I’m hoping to get the next chapter of TRA published in December. Perhaps as a Christmas gift? (wink.) We’ll have to see. I recently got a job at a meat factory and it’s really drained my energy, as i’ve been contemplating becoming a vegetarian over the things i’ve seen. This has prevented me from properly sitting down to write. I hope all of you are doing well! Here is a quote from an old friend of mine, which has been rattling around my head these last few months: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” Makes me ponder.

          P.S. Would anyone be interested in hearing about songs that I associate with TRA? If so, I will list them in the upcoming chapter. I think it could provide some nice atmosphere…

Hello everyone. 
          
          It is currently quite late for me, around 2AM. I am writing this as I am plagued by thoughts regarding my old pieces of fiction: Paradise Giannascoli, Video Games, Alex G Oneshots, etc. Those novels are very, very old -- made when I did not see myself pursuing writing as an actual career. They're immature and crammed with words I cannot bring myself to reread, which brings me to the thought; 
          I will no longer be updating those fanfictions.  
          
          It makes me want to shed a tear, as those pieces of prose are technically my children. I was considering completely archiving them as well, but decided against it... for memories sake. 
          Those works do not represent me or my skill anymore, similar to how Alex G's unreleased works do not represent him as a person. Thank you all for enjoying them after all these years.
          
          I realise this sounds as if I'm quitting writing, which I'm not. I am deeply immersed in my own fanfiction (The Road Ahead) and I'm not planning on dropping it anytime soon. I also have other secret ideas for future writing -- which many of you will be delighted to hear about, trust me. 
          
          I do not expect a response to this Wattpad announcement. I'm mainly writing this so I can finally lull myself into slumber.
