But fr tysm for anyone who's read Road to Recovery and voted on it I'm shocked that it hasn't flopped
in wake of what recently happened , these feel important to post . for personal reasons , this will be both my and lee's statements below .
"i want to start this off by saying that i’m sorry to ash and all the victims of val from the past several years . val had only told us about the nudes he sent in the two group chats , which i’ll admit , was weird to begin with , and the lying about his age thing was iffy to begin with as well , though that was virtually all he told the entire group chat . looking back , i shouldn’t have tried to defend that , either . it’s just weird and made even me uncomfortable when i was in the gcs . i should’ve spoken up about it or at least messaged val and told him that wasn’t okay . i didn’t know about every other time he’d sent nudes until screenshots were sent and i’ll never condone what val did or think asking a twelve year old if they could “ cum to these “ ( his tits ) is okay in the slightest . it’s gross , weird and wrong . on that note , i’ve stopped being friends with val and blocked him after telling him that we could no longer be friends . i never should’ve posted about it in the first place and i deeply regret that . val only told us a very small part of the story and i guess i thought he was telling the whole truth , but he wasn’t . i won’t defend a former friend’s actions anymore after seeing exactly what he’s done and i apologize for ever trying to defend him in the first place . i have already apologized to ash in private . to those affected by what has happened, i'm sorry. i have already apologized to ash, but this feels like it deserves a public apology as well. my defense was one that was more aimed at a friend who was being attacked than the general situation, and I should've taken a step back. i didn't know about the screenshots until late last night, as they just hadn't been passed around quite yet. before, it did feel like more minor things that, while not okay, and they're not to be condoned, didn't add up to the overall message that people were bringing with them. but i understand now, and im again sorry for those affected by it, and for trying to defend that. it's not condonable to send those things to minors, and i won't just repeat exactly what lee's statement said, but let it be known i do feel the same way. - freddie
