hydro flasks may be $20+ BUT a case of 20 plastic water bottles are $4, or if you buy single bottles = $2 each. (where i am)
i fill up my reusable water bottle at least twice a day, equaling maybe two plastic bottles?
so if i were to switch to plastic water bottles, an entire case of 20 would last a week and a half.
$20 hydro flask seems expensive but in reality you DONT have to pay for water as you can fill it up at a water fountain/sink, and lasts YEARS. and obviously reduces the use of plastics.
$4 case of 20 plastic water bottles lasts 1.5 weeks, meaning about $20 per 6 weeks or 1.5 months.
in conclusion any reusable water bottle is better for you AND the environment!! just because something is put in recycling does not gaurantee it won't end up in the environment where it's not supposed to be!
reusable water bottles can be $5 i was just using the hydro flask bc it is looked to be more expensive, but compared to buying plastic one-use bottles it is less expensive!
