@theflowerelectric people have literally been begging him to use his platforms to talk about social justice issues and he has been radio silent. personally i think pressuring people into speaking out is kind of ridiculous but that’s beside the point. he tweeted for the first time since june recently and it was a pic of him wearing platform shoes captioned something like “people keep asking me to use my platforms so i dusted off these bad boys” basically mocking the people that asked him to speak out, and then he still remained silent about everything. when people called him out he went on a long irrelevant rant about mental health to deflect criticism and he said he wasn’t sorry. later on he apologized but it seemed really passive aggressive. tbh all of this just really disappointed me

My Christmas gift from me to you guys is keeping take it slow up for another year 
          
          Eventually it’ll have to come down. I don’t know when that will be, but it will happen for two reasons:
          
          1. I honestly can’t stand that story anymore lmao. I wrote it when I was sixteen and nowadays I am not proud of the writing. I’d edit it but it’s too long and I don’t feel like devoting anymore of my time to it, so it’s just been sitting there on my profile amassing views even though I hate it.
          
          2. I have become very disenchanted with writing stories about real people. Even from the beginning I was hesitant to do it. It makes me uncomfortable and sometimes I have nightmares about the people the stories are about reading my work, as silly as that sounds. I have made a few friends on here that also write this kind of fanfiction, and I have nothing against them and will continue to support them in all of their stories. But I personally can’t continue (which is why other stories like ET and 26 will not be returning).
          
          The only reason why take it slow has lasted so long is because of you guys. So many of you love that story and have asked me not to take it down, so I have decided not to for the time being. When the day comes, I’ll give you an advanced notice.

@ rebelredroses  I totally get you, I have plenty of stories running around in my head but I just don't have time to sit down and write which is as bad as feeling uninspired. But we can get through this!

@OhMyEmmah thank you so much  i still have some old harry potter / hunger games fanfics sitting in my drafts + an original story, but i’ve just been so uninspired lately. hopefully someday i’ll be able to get back in the groove of things!

It’s literally such a good book?? It’s hard for fanfics to be amazing sometimes, but this is probably the best I’ve ever read. It’s realistic and the main thing is it isn’t rushed like most fanfics

@OhMyJosh_TayTayAndTy You’re not annoying whatsoever! It really means a lot to me that people still care about that story. Right now, it’s unpublished because I just couldn’t find the time for it, but I’m not currently planning on abandoning it or anything. Right now, ET is my biggest priority, so as soon as I make some progress on it I’ll start working on 26 again!
