i know for a fact we weren't that bad   . .   at least all of us weren't.   someone has to show these kids who's boss one day or another  ,   and i'm going to be one of the mutants to do so.

            exactly ! and they’re just so . . . so . . . / mean / . i know we both had tempers at that age , but we weren’t THAT bad , were we ?

glad that we've got that settled   ―   oh  ,   believe me  :    you're not the only one here.   they're a bit more stubborn as well.   i took a group to the danger room the other day  ,   and their concept of a team seemed to dissipate as soon as they stepped inside.

well the past is past jean . just so happens i’m not too big on the forgive , forget . * words spit out like venom as the male leans forward on his crutches , shakes his head in disdain for the girl he’d once called friend . peter knew how to hold a grudge . especially one as big as this * friends don’t hurt friends . they don’t give each other third degree burns . they don’t make it so they can’t run , much less walk . that’s all i know how to do jean . and / you / took it away from me . i hope you’re happy
