Just had to stop reading a book because one of the only black characters in the book was seen as the “villain”. This book has 10 million reads. Btw, if you’re gonna write about poc dont make them terrible people. We don’t want your forced representation! :)

If anybody has any good book recommendations I would really appreciate it. Preferably with good writing. :( 

It’s sad how little diversity there is on this app. Most of the popular books are of white characters with NO POC. I rarely see any books about darkskin women especially. And it makes me even angrier when authors add one lgbt character but they end up being white or one black character and they end up being lightskin. It shows you don’t care abt diversity and are only adding representation because you feel obligated too. do better :)
