Honestly, we have both of them to think for blessing us with amazing versions of Carl and can I be honest their OCs make their way into my life more than anything but I generally don’t think I could ever write the way you do because everything is just like an old movie like I just feel soft around the edges like that old film, soft kinda look where every characters just kind of GLOWS like I am generally already hooked, waiting for@mourningveil to update and also now waiting for your updates makes me both so so very excited and also so very anxious. this is the nicest thing! i’m fluent in four languages and i believe certain things worded in french translated into english make for a unique flow of sentences, which might be why. as for aesthetic, i find being visceral and vivid very important. leaving out no detail no matter how shameful it might be, if that makes sense. and i’ve been religiously reading mourningveil and neverclears work, their work honestly helped me hone in my english in both writing and culturally lol sometimes i worry with a wording or phrasing that it is unique to their work and not common english lol but i read a lot of other work and classic english novels for inspiration!
