After twenty years of working in the telecommunication’s field, I gave my employer my 2 week notice and never looked back!

I live in Maine with my  two children, Emily & Jack, and our cat, Ebenezer. My children inspire many of my stories with their wild antics. I love to write “randomness” and create characters with strong personalities- both likable and unlikable.

Lately I've been doing a little genre mixing because- I love to write outside the lines! I've begun to mix fantasy with historical romance and steampunk- which falls under science fiction- sigh...What if I call my genre "Steampink" instead?


My latest novella will be the first in a series, called Molly’s Soap Parlor. The series is a cocktail of fiction, fantasy, speculative science, and steampunk. This new series  series Molly Watkins Chronicles boasts a spunky character (Molly Watkins) who is named after the family’s beloved yellow lab, Molly. 

*At the age of 11, Molly passed away in August of 2011.
