Y'ALL. I AM SO SORRY.
I have to postpone this chapter too, ughh, I'M SORRYYYYY. I can't concentrate, because I'm training for work tomorrow, and school is starting in two weeks, and I have to fork over so much money on stupid textbooks, and UGH. The anxiety is hitting me just now - say a prayer, pleaseee.
The chapter is more than halfway finished, and I thought I could complete it tonight. However, I got stuck in so much traffic earlier (was coming back from somewhere an hour away) and ended up just tired, stressed, and angry by the time I finally got home. Guys, seriously, I'm so sorry I keep failing you. I pinky promise I will have this chapter up on Friday or maybe even tomorrow depending on how the orientation goes. Given the past two weeks, I'm considering changing the updating day, and when fall semester starts... Things might have to slow down a bit. I don't know yet, but I promise I will try my hardest to keep up.
I'm so sorry, you guys. :,-(
Here is an excerpt from the chapter:
“Things are exciting this morning!” a man screams over the wings of the helicopter. He leans out of the flying contraption, admiring the bloody scenery. Rays of sunlight place stars in his whipping, black locks and the stubbles of his shave. “You kids are coming at the right time! Oh—INCOMING!”
The soldier hurls himself back into the speeding beast, and it swerves, narrowly missing the flame of a missile. The rocket explodes and compels the wailing helicopter away. The man lets out a hearty laugh, hanging onto the straps to stay both upright and in the vehicle. Moments later, they erupt from within the cloud of ash and back into the open, gliding for a landing zone in the campsite.
“The rebels are getting more restless, aren’t they!” he yells. “Even as going as far to attack the Big Boat!”
Mouse shrinks in her seat, squished between Bizzy and Span. The beautiful blonde thrusts her head in between her legs and retches, trying to keep down her vomit.
