Hey what do you think of my book TATE? Thanks for voting!

reelss

@qdauthor I am enjoying it so far. I really like how we have already been introduced to Tate and now we're getting the back story. Seeing that there is a vulnerability and why makes him relatable rather than just thinking of him as a rather cold participant in the criminal world that is King. LOVE your writing! You are FABULOUS!

@qdauthor No need to thank me. It's all true. You are a fantastic writer. It takes talent to draw a reader in and you have it. I've always envied people who could do that. I love your work and as long as you produce it, I will read it!

@reelss you have been the first reader/reviewer to make me choke up lol it is bc your review is so genuine. I can tell you've connected with the characters & plots. I'm so happy you've enjoyed the books. As a writer it is my ultimate goal to bring a shred of realism within my fictional worlds. Thank you so much!

@qdauthor I love how everything intertwines together with Eros & King. There are many twists in the story which keep it interesting. I think the characters are all relatable because let's be honest, who hasn't had a secret and hasn't been sure of whether or not to tell those who matter for fear of their reaction? We all have a past. Some more horrific than others. Some more "privileged" than others. At some point down life's road we all intersect in some way or another. You're female characters are strong without being invincible and therefore unbelievable. They deal w/ their s***. They may not like it, but they deal and move forward because there is no other choice. You as the writer do not pretend there isn't hurt or apprehension or self-doubt. Forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean forgetting (Cassie). Life is tough and we have to deal the hand we've been dealt (Laila). Sometimes those incidents leave lasting scars, but we need to adapt, adjust and figure how to live (Valerie). I love the male leads - who doesn't love the man who wants to protect, provide and love? Each of whom are powerful, opens up, loves, nurtures and becomes an actual partner in their own way.

The "dark" turn the book takes whenever Eric & Valerie take off on the motorcycle to the garages is so symbolic. You actually start to feel a little anxious. To realize that she's getting pulled in to the fights almost gives you a sense that she's finding a release of her own in order to deal with her devastating past, almost as though he's helping her without even being aware of it. I think it's so sweet how he wants her to let him in and is patiently working to teach her how. We all need someone like this, don't we?

I'm so happy to be able to draw you in the goal of my writing is to make my readers escape into a characters so much they can imagine and feel themselves in it.

Also King loooooovvvvveeeeesssa that Laila is a very voluptuous woman haha

@lovewordsmusic I absolutely LOVE this book. I think it's wonderful that Laila is a woman whom many can identify with, being full-figured and curvy. I love how King was first attracted to her defiance and the way she stood up to him and the fact that she wasn't afraid of him. It's awesome how acts differently than what he says and she can tell by studying and reading his mannerisms in the way that he would read those of his "associates" and he doesn't even realize she's doing it. Only great writing can draw you in and make you feel what the characters are feeling. This book has that all over the place. Great work!
