There’s nothing like going to visit the city you are thinking like moving to and your car getting tagged by human traffickers.

I had already decided in my head that I wanted to move there and I still do.

I’m treating this like my welcome to the city. I thankfully already knew what to do. I also know people in this city who were able to meet me and make sure I wasn’t alone so I’m extremely grateful for them.

          	I’m okay and safe now.

          	Moral of the story:
-Always be aware of your surroundings (cars, people, places) is anyone looking too close, has someone been sitting in that car behind you since you parked (keep in mind some people sit in their cars for a few minutes after parking but not usually an extended period of time) and are there when you get back? Things like that
-Always look at your car when getting IN & OUT. Look at your side mirrors, windshields, tires, door handles, etc.
-If you are in a situation like this DO NOT inspect or take the item off your car, this is when you are likely to get taken/attacked. Traffickers often lace these items with a drug of some sort to render you unable to fight back. (The item on my drivers side mirror was soaking wet, there hasn’t been any rain today and I’m in a very hot city.)
-Immediately call the police or someone you know will answer and is relatively close by.
-Go inside a store or well populated area if you are not able to safely get in your vehicle.
-If you are already in your vehicle when you notice the item, lock the doors and safely but immediately leave the area.
-If you leave, pay close attention to the cars and people surrounding you and make sure no one is following you.

Stay safe out there and sorry for the long post.
I just want everyone to be aware that these things do happen and we need to be aware of them. I thankfully had a teacher in middle school who informed us of these things, so that we could be on the lookout for ourselves and others.

Shout out to Mr. Clean, you’re a real one!

I have so many! I love when they get protective over each other. Also I love that you show a softer side of Derek while staying accurate to what every other character’s reaction would be when they witness that side of him. The way they are the pack mom and dad is also a favorite part of mine!
