          like do you ever reach that point where you’re squinting at the screen, trying to balance the "too bright" and "too dark" zones like it’s a high stakes art restoration? 
          
          i’ll lit be talking to myself like:
          
          "okay, the negative space here is offensive, let’s move this elsewhere"
          
          "absolutely not, we can’t have three close up shots in the same quadrant, they’ll suffocate each other"
          
          "fuck, now the right side is a crowded mess and the left side looks like a ghost town."

While she has the ability to know exactly what everyone else is feeling, the connection is so intense that their emotions become her own. It eventually stops feeling like a "gift" of insight and starts feeling like a form of personal suffering
