In memory of a gag a friend of mine said, I've changed my username to rena-writes in clarification of my "full name".
She said my pen name *might* have sounded like Elizabeth Swann, who is totally one of my childhood heroes (besides the Captain himself and Tony Stark, of course)... so, yeah.
Writing a book is tiring, and yes, I'm doing these in the middle of finals.
I'm not quite sure if I can take this on, but well. If I don't try, I'll never know.
P.S. I made a world map. Took a little over 8 hours, I think. The most fun 8 hours I could ever have.

This profile seems dead, but no, I'm very much alive. I haven't had time (and the thought) to post anything. My head is too occupied these days, tbh.
So, as you may notice from my profile, I've been working on the first book of my arcane/steampunk series, Deus Ex Chronica. Let me tell you a little about this series.
Deus Ex Chronica is a pet project of mine since I was 12 (it's been THAT long?!).
I have an overactive imagination since heaven knows when and it started out as a generic fantasy series. More like the obligatory Magic Academy™ type. Its working title is "The Divinus Chronicles", but I recently scrapped that part and changed the name.
It got abandoned as I traveled between fandoms until one day in stressful high school life, I remembered the thing and read my old drafts. Of course, my first thought is 'what the hell have I done?' and I embarked on a quest to fix then-TDC to THIS.
As time passes I study a lot of things, mostly from analysis of the video games I play and the ungodly amount of time I spent roaming the depths of Tumblr hell. Then my little project had a growth spurt and I decided to settle here, on Wattpad, to read more stories.
By this time, I'm mostly done with writing fanfics. So why not publish my own series?
