too many will byers fics are fem ocs, that boy is GAY!! it's the same with newt from maze runner, he likes MEN!!

on the topic of flawed characters, MAKE MORE FLAWED FEMALE CHARACTERS!!!

can we talk about how much misogyny there is in wattpad comments targeted towards fem!ocs? why are you calling a woman a bitch/whore/stupid because she's holding a grudge against the male love interest for calling her a slut?? like i see these types of comments often on this platform and have been since i've been reading on here and nobody talks about it. 
          
          i despise readers who fail to realise that a fanfic that includes an oc can be about exploring an already existing fictional world and being a normal person with realistic reactions to the situation around them. stop calling a female character misogynistic terms because she's not reacting the way you want her to regarding the universe and the love interest.  
          
          additionally, just because people are writing on this hellsite, it doesn't make authors any less of an author. just because a woman is fictional, it doesnt make your comments any less misogynistic. stop being so disrespectful in comments against a character who is being flawed and against an author who has created and shaped a character for a love interest and their corresponding universe

why is trying to decide on an adult remus lupin and sirius black fancast that isnt andrew garfield or ben barnes actually more difficult than writing them
