So, it's been a minute. I guess that means it's time to fix up and get my act together. Now, where to start...

Last year was a huge roller-coaster and I took my books down while I focused on building our writers' group and getting those wheels in motion. This week I've published the first chapter in Tyra's Saga, a new story in the Ulfrheim series. I don't know if this will be a stand-alone book or a part of the series. For now, I'm enjoying the ride and will let the story tell me where it's going. Come check it out if you have a minute. I'll pop the kettle on... =)

QUICK UPDATE: Working on a major overhaul of book outlines and websites at the moment, so I've unpublished my drafts for now. I will be re-uploading in the coming weeks but with a slightly different structure. I'll try to dig into my messages and respond to questions asap, but I am a little bit short of hours at present. Just know I'm not ghosting you - I'll be back soon.

Happy New Week, my darling! The weather in Blighty has been unforgiving these past two weeks, and it's still only 15 - 16 degrees indoors. I'm camping out under me duvet with me tea; wearing gloves, a scarf and a padded winter jacket to cope with this nonsense.

But, March beckons and we're still here, so we might as well give this week a shot. I have to say, it's off to a blooming brilliant start:

          - Early this morning, one of my favourite authors wrote: "This chapter is dedicated to @linnealucifer [...] 3,551 words of smut!" (¬‿¬) I am profoundly undeserving of such praise, but seriously... To be mentioned in a smut chapter with a sweet bondage scene? I'm touched, honoured and well chuffed! This one's going into my Hall of Fame. (¬‿¬) Thank you so much, @IrisJoy94 and well done for hanging in there and writing even when life takes up most of your time! (♥‿♥)

          - The second early bird to brighten my day, and add some sparkle to the last full week of February, was @anotherarmitage who's added a new chapter to The Pool Girl. (Link in comments.) I'm looking forward to reading that over my morning cuppa in a bit. Tack, vännen! (♥‿♥)

          - Last night I suddenly remembered my long-forgotten LinkedIn deets and lo and behold - my account was still there, and my inbox full of messages. I've met and worked with some pretty special people in my days, and for some of them to be sending me love even when I've been awol for years? I can't even... ( ‘.’ )

          - Last, but definitely not least, I went on Wattpad to update a story and found 200 followers waiting in my back garden! There were less than 10 of you a few months ago, so this is a weird and wonderful experience. Thank you so much for visiting my little Wattpudlian outpost and taking the time to push that button. All the love! ;-*

Gosh, so much promise and positivity in the first shivering moments of a new week my heart is all a-flutter...

You know what? Life truly is magic.

          Let's go live it!

          Luv'n'Stuff,

So, if werewolf smut'n'action is your thing, you need to read @IrisJoy94's Knight Pack series. If you're not into werewolf/shifter stories, you should still give Iris a shot. She was one of the first three writers I came across here, and had just decided to brave it and start telling about a young woman who finds out that's she's, supposedly, the fated mate of two alpha wolves.

I was pleasantly surprised to be invited into a world that didn't look like any shifter universe I've ever seen. Iris writes characters that are multi-faceted and relatable. They are flawed, funny, infuriating and diverse. They are spicy, and the smut is very bdsm(ish), but it's written in an unusually responsible way which I appreciate. Iris weaves action and adventure, pain and pleasure and all of the feels into her stories. And, other than when Charlotte's stress baking, there's no saccharine stuff in these books.

The first book in the series, The Fated Mate https://www.wattpad.com/story/231633176-the-fated-mate-%E2%9C%94%EF%B8%8F just passed 200K reads, and Iris is selling hats and fund-raising ( https://ko-fi.com/irisjoy94 ) to be able to publish it. If you can, consider spotting her a cuppa to help a fellow writer and busy mama get to see their book in print. You couldn't support a nicer person.

Hello Friday and happy end of the week, Watties.

I think it's time for a Feature Friday again, the first one of the year for me. Today, I'd like to suggest that you check out my friend Ara, @Spread_Positivity_ and her ongoing story "The Assassin's Prophecy" https://www.wattpad.com/story/280897440-the-assassin%27s-prophecy She's well worth a follow and a few votes.

          So, what's happening this weekend?

Happy Monday, Watties! What's cooking in your cauldron this week?

I've just posted another chapter in my poetry collection. This one, called Kiss Me a Lie, is a series of 7-word poems all written with #kiss as the prompt word.

This week, I'm going to spend in Ulfrheim with Edda and Horse. I'll be aiming for bi-weekly updates of Horse's Heart from now on. Let's see how long I can keep that up. My plan is to have this book finished by the end of this year and, hopefully, published in 2023. Aiming for the stars to reach the treetops, as always.

How about you? What's the game plan for the week? Or for the year?
Whatever your plans are, I hope you're well and being kind to yourself.
