Yall, can someone please explain to me how the story rankings work?

So I was in the middle of writing the new chapter of "Meeting the New Boy" and I had to copy the whole text to change the layout and I accidentally pressed paste. Oh my lord.

Thank you so much for almost 100 reads on "Meeting the New Boy." I'm working on a new chapter. I'm so sorry that I haven't been very active, now school is out and it's summer for me, so hopefully I will be able to write more!

Should I make shorter chapters so I can upload more chapters a day or make long ones that I do now but only upload one or two chapters a day???
