That makes so much sense, and honestly, it makes it even more painful because now you've got two people feeling confused and distant, but for completely different reasons. Apart from that I loved how easy it was to get invested in your story. The characters felt genuine, and several scenes were so visually striking that they instantly gave me ideas for illustrations.
